Question: In which directions do even numbered routes go?

The Limbo asks How low can you go?, and Harley-Davidson has the answer: 26.25 inches from the asphalt to the sleek new contoured saddle on their brand new XL 1200L Sportster Low.

Specially designed for those with limited inseam, the Sportster Low allows riders to keep both boots on the ground for more comfort and confidence. Pull-back handlebars, specific to the 1200 Low, and mid-mount foot controls provide an easy reach to set the rubber-mounted Evolution® powertrain into motion.

Clutch effort has been reduced by 12 percent, and the redesigned transmission changes gears quickly and quietly with less lever travel and effort, while the chromed-out 1200cc Evo engine powers you down the road in smooth, effortless style.

Highlighted by black 13-spoke cast aluminum wheels and unique black fender struts, the long, low profile and slammed suspension is crowned with a 4.5 gallon tank with an exclusive Harley-Davidson emblem, and the sleek new pavement-hugging package is available in eight paint options including an exclusive two-tone color scheme.

Come in and check out the new Sportster XL 1200 Low today, and see how low you can go!

If you think you're seeing more bikes on the road these days, you're right! As gasoline prices have escalated, so have sales of motorcycles, as consumers opt for a more economic mode of transportation, and more fun, too!

Motorcycles get 50.1 mpg on average, while passenger cars average around 22.3 mpg and light trucks and SUVs average around 17.7 mpg.

A motorcycle with a 5-gallon tank can go 200-250 miles between fill-ups, which cost less than $15, while a luxury car or light truck/SUV can cost $40-$50 to travel the same distance.

It's numbers like these that have cost-conscious motorists driving less, trading in their gas-guzzling SUVs for compact cars or hybrids, or going whole hog and buying motorcycles.

Sales of on-highway motorcycles are up compared to the same period last year.

NADAguides.com, a leading vehicle information web site, announced that more people have researched scooter and motorcycle pricing and specifications in the last 6 months than at any other time during its five-year history, citing high gas prices as a leading cause for the boost in its online motorcycle traffic. (Of their most commonly researched motorcycles, the Harley-Davidson XL1200C zoomed past the competition and ranked number one.)

And while cooler weather typically signals the end of motorcycling in many regions of the country, the high cost of fuel has many motorcyclists considering a longer riding season.

So don't be a slave to higher gas prices and low mileage, come in and see us about a new motorcycle and start $aving today!
