Ride
to
Feature
Stars
of
National
Geographic
Channel’s
Rescue
Ink
An
army
of
tattooed,
Harley-riding
guys
with
zero
tolerance
for
animal
abuse
and
neglect,
also
known
as
National
Geographic
Channel’s
Rescue
Ink,
will
lead
a
ride
to
end
dog
fighting,
Saturday,
June
12,
at
the
Milwaukee
Harley-Davidson
dealership.
The
stars
of
Rescue
Ink,
a
show
which
documents
saving
pets
from
bad
owners
and
situations,
will
be
signing
copies
of
their
new
book
and
bringing
their
film
crew
along
to
tape
the
action
for
an
upcoming
episode.
For
these
riders,
saving
pets
and
getting
a
chance
to
see
Harley’s
hometown,
as
well
as
one
of
the
company’s
most
active
dealerships,
will
be
all
in
a
day’s
work.
Ride
registration
begins
at
10
a.m.,
on
the
day
of
the
ride,
at
Milwaukee
Harley-Davidson,
11310
W.
Silver
Spring
Road.
Fans
will
be
able
to
purchase
a
Rescue
Ink
book
and
commemorative
ride
t-shirt
on-site.
Book
signing
begins
at
10
a.m.
and
the
Rescue
Ink
team
will
lead
the
first
group
on
the
ride
at
11
a.m.
The
route
tours
the
scenic
Holy
Hill
area
with
stops
at
Madam
Belle’s,
Tally
Ho,
Uncle
Johnny’s,
and
Sussex
Place,
and
it
finishes
back
at
Milwaukee
Harley-Davidson
with
live
music
by
Blind
Dog
Hopkins
beginning
at
4
p.m.
Riders
may
also
tour
the
Rescue
Ink
ambulance,
and
there
will
be
food,
vendors,
raffle
prizes,
and
a
poker
hand
drawing
with
a
top
prize
of
a
50”
flat-screen
plasma
television.
The
ride
entry
fee
is
$15
per
person
or
$25
per
couple,
with
all
registration
fees
going
directly
to
end
dog
fighting
in
Milwaukee.
The
ride
is
open
to
those
on
two
wheels
or
four.
