Hi!
My
name
is
Chad
Leys
and
I’m
in
BRP
sales
at
Martin
Motor
Sports.
Today
I
want
to
talk
a
little
about
what’s
new
in
the
Sea-Doo
or
personal
watercraft
(PWC)
world.
BRP
has
expanded
its
award
winning
iControl
from
two
models
in
2009
to
seven
models
in
2010.
The
new
models
include
the
GTX
Limited
iS
260,
GTX
iS
215,
GTX
155,
RXT
iS
260,
RXT-X
260,
RXT
215,
and
the
WAKE
PRO
215.
Also,
last
year
BRP
released
the
new
S3
stepped
hull,
which
reduces
drag
and
allows
the
Sea-Doo
to
have
a
smoother,
faster
ride;
and
is
also
50
pounds
lighter
than
previous
years.
iS
(intelligent
suspension)
and
iBR
(intelligent
brake
and
reverse)
are
also
new.
The
new
iS
is
the
first
full
suspension
on
a
watercraft,
which
allows
the
hull
to
move
independently
from
the
seat.
The
seat,
footrest
and
handle
bars
have
a
full
6”
of
movement
for
complete
comfort
no
matter
what
the
water
is
like.
The
GTX
LTD
iS
and
the
GTX
iS
are
factory
calibrated
for
a
smoother
ride
at
cruising
speeds
where
the
RXT
iS
is
calibrated
stiffer
for
more
sport
riding.
Both
models
have
auto
mode
which
adjusts
your
ride
depending
on
the
conditions
of
the
water,
or
you
have
9
settings
on
the
handlebars
to
customize
the
watercraft
to
your
comfort
level.
The
iBR
offers
a
whole
new
level
of
safety.
You
no
longer
have
to
look
for
the
neutral/reverse
lever,
with
the
control
right
on
the
handlebars.
When
the
watercraft
is
moving
forward,
squeeze
the
brake
to
slow
down,
or
if
stopped
already
squeeze
the
brake
lever
for
reverse.
When
the
watercraft
is
first
started
on
the
water
it
is
in
a
true
neutral,
squeeze
the
throttle
to
go
forward,
or
squeeze
the
brake
to
go
in
reverse.
This
makes
docking
a
breeze,
eliminating
the
problem
of
having
no
control
over
the
machine
when
running
and
not
on
the
throttle.
Both
your
dock
and
rub
rail
will
thank
you
when
you
don’t
have
to
power
down
and
hope
you
float
straight
into
your
lift!
With
12
models
in
the
line-up,
Sea-Doo
has
a
watercraft
for
everyone.
For
those
of
you
who
want
to
be
the
fastest
on
the
water,
there
is
the
RXT-X
260;
if
you
want
comfort
and
power
there
is
the
GTX
LTD
iS
260,
and
if
you're
looking
for
an
economy
family
unit
the
GTI
130
and
GTI
155
are
comfortable
and
affordable.
Both
seat
3,
and
all
Sea-Doo
models
come
equipped
with
two
keys,
one
being
a
regular
D.E.S.S
key
(digital
encoded
security
system)
and
a
learning
key
which
limits
the
rider's
speed.
For
those
of
you
with
kids
who
are
just
learning
to
navigate
the
water,
this
key
is
a
great
way
to
give
them
the
freedom
they
want
without
the
elevated
risk
factor.
If
you’re
looking
for
something
a
little
bigger,
with
more
room
for
family,
friends
and
all
the
gear
they
bring,
the
new
Challenger
210
and
the
Challenger
Wake
210
are
for
you.
Both
the
Challengers
can
be
purchased
in
either
310
HP
or
430
HP
with
the
option
of
a
tower.
The
Challenger
Wake
210
comes
with
4
tower
speakers,
and
a
600
lbs
wake
boost
system,
heater,
rear-facing
passenger
lounger,
and
fold
away
transat
seats
at
the
back
of
the
boat,
which
are
great
for
lounging
around.
They
have
the
capacity
of
holding
up
to
10
people.
Sea-Doo
has
9
options
for
boats
ranging
from
seating
4
to
12,
with
a
length
of
15’
to
23’.
Bottom
line
is,
if
you
want
a
reliable
jet
drive
machine
whether
it’s
a
PWC
or
Sportboat,
BRP
has
the
product
for
you.
With
the
water
level
decreasing
every
year,
Sea-Doo
seems
to
be
the
easiest
and
most
worry-free
way
to
enjoy
your
hot
summer
days
on
the
lake.
