started
their
season
at
the
All-Harley
Drag
Racing
Association
(AHDRA)
Bike
Week
Nationals
in
Gainesville,
FL
on
March
4-5.
Team
owner
and
racer,
Kevin
Seneca
achieved
a
milestone,
qualifying
2nd
in
the
Screamin’
Eagle
Performance
Parts
(SEP)
class
with
a
best
ET
of
11.509.
Feeling
that
the
bike
could
go
faster
than
the
SEP
class
dial-in
index
of
11.5,
Seneca
also
competed
in
the
Super
Eliminator
(SE)
Class.
The
best
run
of
the
weekend
came
in
SE
qualifying
with
an
ET
of
11.258.
Seneca
was
eliminated
in
the
first
round
of
both
series.
“Reaction
time
is
critical
and
we
just
weren’t
hooking
up
with
the
light,”
says
Seneca.
“The
bike
is
amazing,”
continues
Seneca.
“Before
[Gowanda
H-D]
tuned
it
on
the
Dyno
this
winter
the
bike
was
running
at
best
an
11.35.
At
Gainesville
we
ran
11.169,
excluding
the
light.”
“Having
the
carburetor
dialed
in
with
the
Dyno
was
an
important
step,”
says
Service
Manager,
Shawn
Mowry.
“We’re
all
rooting
for
Kevin
this
season.
I’m
proud
of
our
techs
here
for
putting
such
a
great
effort
into
getting
the
motor
tuned.”
