The
Star
Tribune
reported
in
their
August
14,
2010
issue
that
Gov.
Tim
Pawlenty
sent
rules
to
protect
lakeshore
areas
back
to
the
drawing
board.
Pawlenty
criticized
the
proposed
rules
as
inflexible
because
they
"create
one-size-fits-all
standards
for
situations
that
vary
widely
across
our
state"
and
because
they
impede
local
decision-making.
