at

Santa
Monica
Pier
in
California
on
Sunday
September
26
after
3,294
miles
on
his
1915
Indian.
The
entire
event
was
a
tribute
to
motorcyclists
everywhere
and
proved
the
durability
of
even
the
very
earliest
models.
The
Motorcycle
Cannonball
Run
wasn't
for
everyone,
but
the
strongest
survived
and
thrived.
Of
the
45
competitors,
Jim
finished
24th
overall
and
was
16th
in
his
class.

salute
all
these
gentlemen
riders
for
their
endurance
and
dedication
to
the

of
