MYRTLE
BEACH’S
CRUISIN’
THE
COAST
SPRING
BIKE
WEEK
2006
Bigger
and
Better
Every
Year!
Myrtle
Beach,
SC
-
Myrtle
Beach,
SC
will
once
again
be
home
to
one
of
the
most
popular
motorcycle
rallies
in
the
country
in
2006,
Jack
Daniel’s
presents
Cruisin’
The
Coast
Spring
Bike
Week.
The
annual
festival
takes
place
May
12-21
and
promises
to
be
biggest
rally
ever
in
Myrtle
Beach.
This
year’s
event
begins
on
Mother’s
Day
Weekend
and
coincides
with
Darlington
Raceway
hosting
nighttime
BUSCH
and
NEXTEL
CUP
Races
that
same
weekend.
The
first
weekend
of
the
rally
will
definitely
be
the
busiest
ever.
Another
exciting
addition
to
Spring
Bike
Week
is
the
first
ever
Rat’s
Hole
Bike
Show.
It
will
be
held
May
18-19
at
Barefoot
Landing.
The
King
Rat
of
all
bike
shows
will
take
Spring
Bike
Week
to
another
level.
Also,
for
the
first
time,
look
for
Zippo
Lighters
and
their
customized
Cruisin’
the
Coast
Lighters.
It
is
the
first
time
Zippo
has
customized
lighters
for
Myrtle
Beach
Spring
Bike
Week.
These
will
be
in
short
supply
and
high
demand.
In
2005,
approximately
325,000
bikers
(a
new
record)
enjoyed
nine
days
of
sunshine
filled
weather,
miles
miles
of
new
roads,
some
of
the
best
biker
bars
in
the
country
and
60
miles
of
sandy
beaches
and
warm
ocean
waters.
The
road
improvements
in
Myrtle
Beach
continue
to
make
it
easier
than
ever
for
bikers
to
enjoy
the
open
road:
Hwy
31
now
has
30
miles
of
roads
with
no
stoplights
and
connects
Hwy
544
on
the
south
end
to
Hwy
9
on
the
north
end;
Hwy
22
has
26
miles
of
open
road
with
no
stoplights
and
connects
to
Hwy
31
and
Hwy
501
west
of
Conway.
The
new
roads
provide
easy
access
to
Wilmington,
NC,
Florence,
SC
Charleston,
SC
and
have
made
Myrtle
Beach
one
of
the
premier
riding
rallies
in
the
country.
It
also
provides
for
great
day
trips
to
some
of
the
most
scenic
waterfronts
in
the
nation.
The
rally
is
also
highlighted
by
the
expansion
of
biker
activities
in
the
region.
There
are
events
and
activities
up
and
down
the
beach
for
nearly
60
miles.
In
the
last
two
years,
North
Myrtle
Beach
has
been
discovered
by
bikers
with
the
expansion
of
events
and
activities
at
Barefoot
Landing.
One
of
South
Carolina’s
top
tourist
attractions,
Barefoot
Landing
hosted
over
70
vendors
and
live
entertainment
throughout
the
week.
HB

the
best
biker
bars
in
the
country,
is
also
located
in

the
rally.
Open
until
the
early
morning
hours
each
night,

has
constant
live
entertainment,
vendors,
biker
games
and

It
is
truly
a

it
out.

activity
each
day.
It
is
a
great
place
to
see
and
be
seen.
You’ll
see
a
little
bit
of
everything.
The
Harley

at
the
Beach,
located
in
North

is
also
a

motorcycles
(new

used)
will
be

to
be
seen
to
be
believed.
In
addition
to
the
retail
location
that
also
has
a
service
department
and
a
building
that
sells
discounted
items.
These
sale

are
only
available
during

You
won’t
find
better
ways
to
spend
your
evenings
then
partying
and
people
watching
at
these
places.
Be
sure
to
also
visit
the
Iron
Gate
Saloon
(right
next

of
