at
Harley-Davidson

Dallas!
The
All
Harley
Drag
Race
Association
(AHDRA)
Race
Van
and
the
2005
Champion
Dallas
Harley-Davidson
drag
bike
will
be
in
the
parking
lot
from
4:00
p.m.
to
7:00
p.m.
–
sort
of
our
version
of
a
Happy
Hour!
Come
on
out
and
smell
the
nitro
when
we
start
‘em
up!
You
have
GOT
to
hear
the
power
when
these
babies
are
running
–
it’ll
send
shivers
down
your
spine!
Show
up
during
Nitro
Night
and
register
for
a
chance
to
win
Supercross
tickets
and
pit
passes!
You
don’t
have
to
be
present
to
win,
but
registration
will
only
take
place
during
the
time
the
drag
bikes
are
at
the
shop.
The
AHDRA
drag
finals
will
be
held
on
April
23rd
at
Texas
Motorplex
in
Ennis,
and
discounted
tickets
are
available
for
purchase

different
race
classes,
ranging
from
the
220
mph
Top
Fuel
class
to
the
highly
competitive
E.T.
class.
Drag
competitors
have
a
wide
range
of
choices
of
what
class
or
classes
to
race
in.
In
2006,
AHDRA
added
an
additional
class
titled
V-Rod
Destroyer.
The
VRXSE
Screamin'
Eagle®
V-Rod®
DestroyerTM
is
Harley-Davidson's
first
out-of-the-box,
drag
racing
motorcycle
and
can
do
a
quarter
mile
run
in
under
10
seconds.
Top
Fuel
motorcycles
are
the
fastest
accelerating
machines
on
the
planet
(on
two
wheels),
and
will
out
accelerate
all
vehicles
from
a
standing
start,
except
for
Top
Fuel
Cars.
This
includes
Formula
One
Cars
and
even
Thrust
SSC
and
F14
Jet
Fighters!
They
have
four
cylinder
purpose
built
engines,
are
supercharged,
fuel
injected,
and
consume
over
15
gallons
of
nitromethane
every
mile.
These
huge
motorcycles
are
an
astounding
spectacle
--
even
standing
still
they
look
fast!
It
takes
a
special
breed
of
person
to
ride
them
and
there
is
absolutely
nothing
in
the
world
of
motorcycles
to
compare
with
them.
