start

2011
AMA
Supercross

FIM
World
Championship
season
are
only
days
away.
American
Honda
Racing's
Trey
Canard
and
Josh
Grant
are
primed
and
ready
to
showcase
their
talents
aboard
Honda
CRF450Rs
at
the
opening
round
of
the
championship
at
Angel
Stadium,
in
Anaheim,
California,
on
Saturday,
January
8.
"I
can't
wait
to
start
racing
Supercross,"
says
Canard.
"Switching
from
the
Honda
CRF250R
to
the
CRF450R
has
been
a
relatively
smooth
transition
and
I've
made
it
my
focus
to
get
in
as
much
seat
time
on
the
bigger
bike
as
possible
over
the
past
few
months.
Preparations
are
going
according
to
plan,
and
I'm
ready
to
get
the
season
started."
Grant
will
make
his
debut
at
Anaheim
One,
"The
first
race
of
the
season
is
just
around
the
corner
and
that
moment
can't
come
fast
enough,"
he
says.
"I
really
want
2011
to
be
that
breakthrough
year
in
my
racing
career
and
for
that
to
happen
I
need
to
stay
healthy
and
be
there
at
the
end
of
the
season,
when
it
counts
the
most."
