It's
interesting
how
a
motorcycle
continuously
parked
outside
a
business
establishment
can
create
interest.
Just
last
week,
my
wife
told
me
she
saw
a
BMW
Motorcycle
outside
a
new
restaurant
opening
up
on
4th
Street
between
Avenue
A
and
Avenue
B.
I
was
on
my
Sunday
bicycle
ride,
so
I
stopped
by
to
check
out
this
place,
and
found
a
1998
R1100GS
out
front.
The
poor
baby
had
seen
the
worst
that
New
York
City
can
throw
at
a
bike
-
vandalized
seat
and
fuel
tank,
broken
signal
lens
and
brake
pedal
etc…I
sought
out
Jason,
the
owner
of
EU
Restaurant,
and
the
owner
of
the
GS,
we
meet
and
commiserate
about
the
perils
of
motorcycling
in
the
city.
Immediately
we
relate
to
each
other,
ahh
motorcycle
people,
I
love
you
folks;
no
matter
what
our
profession
we
quickly
find
common
ground
in
the
sport
of
Motorcycling.
We
had
a
nice
conversation
about
bikes,
life,
and
the
challenges
of
starting
a
new
business
in
the
East
Village.
I
had
also
made
a
mental
note
to
drop
off
an
extra
turn
signal
lens
I
have
had
at
home
for
months,
to
Jason
the
owner.
He
couldn't
believe
that
someone
would
actually
take
the
time
to
do
this,
given
the
hectic
busy
schedule
that
working
stiffs
have
to
endure.
Jason
tells
me
to
please
stop
by
for
dinner
some
time;
so
my
wife
and
I
do
drop
in
for
dinner
a
week
later.
Actually,
my
wife
and
I
find
ourselves
in
the
area
often
to
visit
my
Mother
in-law
who
resides
at
the
local
Senior
Home.
If
you
want
first
class
French
Cuisine,
with
fabulous
ambiance
(Il
y
avait
de
l'ambiance),
great
service
and
staff,
E.U
Restaurant
is
the
place
for
you;
with
the
side
benefit
of
supporting
a
fellow
BMW
rider.
To
get
there,
just
drive
East
on
4th
street
from
Avenue
A
and
look
for
the
black
R1100GS
on
the
North
side
of
the
street.
Jason
will
be
happy
to
talk
motorcycling
with
you,
and
give
you
extra
special
service.
Bon
Appétit!
