SECOND ANNUAL BREAST RIDE EVER

The Second Annual Breast Ride Ever will take place May 16 - 21, 2011. The destination for this year's ride is New Mexico. Eighteen women from Harley-Davidson World will be riding in this event. This ride is to celebrate women's riding month and help raise money and awareness for breast cancer. If you are interested in sponsoring one of the lady riders from Harley-Davidson World, or want to make a pledge, please contact Sara @631-8680, ext 303 or email snewman@harleydavidsonworld.com. We join with ProTeam Harley-Davidson in Lawton, OK on this ride. Last year between both dealerships, we donated over $7200.00 to Susan G. Komen, Central Oklahoma. Our goal for 2011 is $10,000.00 The money raised stays in the State of Oklahoma to help women undergoing treatment.

Dear Friends:

As I am sure many of you are aware, Sara and I have made a decision to retire from Harley-Davidson World effective March 31st. We both plan to be here on a part time basis for several more months to assist with the transition. Our new General Manager is Mr. Jim Strickland. Jim comes to us with many years of management experience in the Harley dealership business. I have personally known Jim for over twelve years and I am very excited about his leadership ability and his commitment to continuing the legacy of Harley-Davidson World for you our customers.

As you can imagine this is a bittersweet time for Sara and me. For the past 13 years Harley-Davidson World has been a huge part of our lives. We have made countless friends and have thoroughly enjoyed all the events and activities at the dealership. The support of our family and dedication of all our employees has been without limits.

A special thanks goes to our Oklahoma City HOG Chapter. The chapter is now over 500 strong and continues to be a tremendous asset to the dealership. The support of the officers and the hundreds of volunteers over the years has made it possible for us to host events such as the National HOG Rally in the summer of 2009.

Sara and I plan to spend time with our four grandchildren and have more time to ride "our Harley". Sara also tells me there is a new puppy in our future!

THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES!

Dan
