BRP Sales
Hey everyone it’s Chad Leys from Martin Motor Sports again. Last year I talked about how BRP changed the Sea-Doo experience with its new (IBR) intelligent brake/ reverse, and (ITC) intelligent throttle control. What are IBR and ITC you may ask? IBR is the first PWC (personal water craft) to have brakes!!!!! Sea-Doo has given you a brake lever on the handlebar which will assist you in stopping up to 100’ shorter than the competition, which is invaluable in those close call situations. This also gives you more confidence while riding by being able to keep your hands on the handlebars to engage reverse while manouvering to dock or load. ITC (intelligent throttle control) is also a first in the PWC world- it's a machine that will actually start up in a TRUE neutral, and also gives you cruise control, touring and sport modes as well as an eco mode. Cruise control works at both high speeds for towing and low speeds for areas with speed limits or for docking. In low speed mode, ITC limits your speed to 5 km/h, but still gives you full throttle control within that range. Touring and sport modes help to assist you when pulling a rider so the machine will launch the same way each time. Eco mode means the machine will find the best overall speed and engine rpm to get the best fuel economy. IBR and ITC basically give you ultimate control of your machine right from the time you push the start button to the time you return to the dock.

This year Sea-Doo continues to blow the competition out of the water with the release of the new GTI, GTS, RXT-X AS, and GTX LTD models. First off is the new GTS 130 which is an entry level Sea-Doo now built on the S3 hull, and with its fuel efficient engine it provides lots of power to get the adrenaline pumping! This machine also has touring and sport modes for customizing you riding experience. Then there is the GTI 130 which gives you all the same features of the GTS 130 but also gives you IBR and ITC for increased maneuverability around the dock and stopping power on the water. With the IBR and ITC available on these entry level models, you now have the ability to get industry-leading technology without exceeding your budget.

Also, BRP now offers the GTI SE 155/130 and GTI LTD 155. The GTI LTD gives you cruise control, high performance VTS (variable trim system), touring seat and side mirrors. These upgraded LTD features are usually only available on the high end machines, and are now available for lower horsepower machines as well. The GTI SE 150/130 model also gives you a re-boarding ladder, VTS, IBR, and ITC. All these models are built on the new S3 hull which is lighter than competitive hulls and gives you more stability on the water.

Now for the high performance/luxury models we have the well known RXT-X 260, now with (IS) intelligent suspension and a Fox adjustable shock in the center console, designed for aggressive rough water riding. Also we have the GTX LTD IS 260 which includes a custom cover, depth finder, 2 speed ties, glove box organizer, dry bag storage, safety kit and premium colouration.

Tech Tip Of The Month:
The snow's melting and that means the Spyders are coming out of the garage! While we're all excited to get back on the open road, there's a few really important things to check before the first ride of the season:

-Check your oil level. If it's dirty or low it needs to be changed
-Check your battery charge. If it's been sitting over the winter there's a good chance it's low.
-Check your tire pressure. Most of the highways haven't been cleaned yet so optimal tire pressure is important just in case. Plus, your tires may look okay, but that's no guarantee they haven't lost pressure over the winter. Better safe than sorry!

Not sure if everything is working properly? Bring it in and one of our trained technicians will be happy to take a look.
