Riding
The
K1600's
In
Northern
Georgia
Nancy
&
I
returned
late
last
week
from
Northern
Georgia
and
I
was
one
of
the
first
dealers
to
take
the
new
K1600’s
for
a
230
mile
test
ride.
I
firmly
believe
that
this
cycle
will
surpass
all
your
expectations.
The
engine
is
silky
smooth
and
the
torque
is
incredible
(70%
of
maximum
torque
available
at
1500
RPM).
Combine
this
with
the
Dynamic
Traction
Control
(three
settings:
Rain,
Road,
&
Dynamic)
and
I
found
myself
riding
a
lot
faster
than
I
should
through
the
hills
and
twisty
back
roads
of
Georgia.
The
cycle
is
light,
agile,
and
extremely
responsive.
The
multi-controller
is
amazing
and
very
intuitive
(even
I
could
figure
it
out
after
only
a
few
minutes
of
playing
with
it)
and
when
I
wasn’t
listening
to
the
great
sound
of
the
engine
and
exhaust,
I
was
listening
to
the
XM
satellite
radio.
There
is
no
doubt
that
BMW
has
taken
sport
touring
and
touring
to
the
next
level.
For
those
of
you
who
purchased
a
cycle
during
the
pre-sale
you'll
be
glad
you
did! For
those
of
you
who
didn't
you'll
wish
you
had!

our
cottage.

riding
too
fast.
She
opts
to
go
horseback
riding
instead.
Good
choice!
After
a
great
morning
of
hard
riding
we
stop
at
a
winery
for
lunch.
As
we
are
on
two
wheels
wine
is
not
served.
After
a
great
lunch
we
saddled
up
and
had
an
afternoon
of
wonderful
roads.
It
all
ended
too
soon.
