It's HOT! There's no better time than the dead of summer to hit the road and be mountain bound! The air is cooler, cleaner and crisper and the ride feels darn near purifying! On this run you'll visit some of Colorado's best mountain towns. Go through Estes Park and stop at the Rocky Mountain National Park Visitors Center to dine at the Trailridge. You can visit Grandby and then head to Deno's or Hernando's to eat in Winter Park. Best of all, you can stop for the night in Central City or Blackhawk where you can spend the evening gambling and watching a live show. This one seriously fun ride!

SAFETY TIPS FOR AN ENJOYABLE RIDE
Beginning with this newsletter, we are going to feature a riding safety tip in each issue. Just little reminders of the small things you can do to ensure every ride is fantastic. Be safe, be aware and have fun. Happy Riding!
#1 - ASSUME YOU ARE INVISIBLE!!! To most drivers - you are! Never make a move based on the assumption that another driver sees you, even if you've just made eye contact. Bikes don't always register in the four-wheel mind.

TECH TIPS
HOW TO REMOVE MELTED ON BOOT MARKS AND TAR FROM YOUR PIPES
Before attempting to remove the melted-on goo, make sure the pipes are cool to the touch. After washing with Sunwash Concentrate, follow with Harley Glaze Polish & Sealant. Harley Glaze has petroleum distillates that will help soften and break down the baked-on material. Put a generous dab of it on the spot and let it set for a few minutes. Next, scrape away the substance with an H-D Softcloth, an old credit card or anything else that won't scratch the surface of the pipes. Make sure anything you remove is not "rescrubbed" into the pipe surface; the contaminant itself may scratch the pipes. This is definitely one of the tougher cleaning jobs on a motorcycle, and some globs of gunk are so baked-on that even Harley Glaze won't work, but it's certainly worth a try!

YAMAHA ROADLINER
The flagship of the Star line, and Cycle World magazine’s Best Cruiser for 2006 (CW's 10 Best, July `06)! The Yamaha Roadliner is designed to show and go like no other cruiser before it, with big power and great handling. Powerful and beautiful 113-cubic-inch (1854cc) air-cooled, pushrod V-twin produces great thrust at any speed. Twin-bore downdraft fuel injection ensures optimum engine efficiency and throttle response in the widest possible range of conditions. Neo-streamline design, including the first seamless gas tank fitted to a Star, gives the Roadliner a completely distinctive look. Long and low aluminum frame provides great looks and light handling unlike any other full-size cruiser, thanks to near 50/50 weight distribution on the front and rear wheels. Classis Star quality fit and finish - you won't be sorry.
