Jack
Maxey |
|
Jack
was
drafted
into
the
Army
as
a
teen
from
his
home
state
of
Oklahoma.
During
a
basic
training
formation,
the
soilders
were
asked
if
any
had
experience
driving
trains
and
heavy
equipment.
Jack
was
the
only
one
that
raised
his
hand.
He
had
experience
operating
trains
with
his
father
growing
up.
He
served
his
duty
in
the
Phillipines
with
the
Army
Corp
of
Engineers.
When
he
came
home
he
worked
the
oil
fields
of
Texas
and
Oklahoma.
Jack
is
86
and
comes
into
our
store
often
on
his
CB919
just
for
a
cup
of
coffee!

Dale
Gray |
|
Our
store
owner
Dale
Gray
served
in
Vietnam
in
1969
thru
1970.
He
was
stationed
at
Quy
Nhon
and
drove
convoys
from
Cameron
Bay
to
Pleiku
over
the
deadly
pass
at
An
Khe.
After
his
tour
of
duty
he
got
an
early
out
and
served
in
the
National
Guard
for
a
year.
Dale
learned
many
of
his
skills
in
the
Army
as
a
generator
technician.
He
has
always
loved
motorcycles
and
working
on
them.
He
is
considered
to
be
one
of
the
top
technicians
in
the
state.

Rebecca
Abbott |

Rebecca
Abbott
SSG
has
served
in
the
Army
for
over
ten
years.
She
has
been
stationed
at
Ft.
Knox,
KY,
Ft.
Leavenworth,
KS
and
is
currently
stationed
at
JBLM,
WA.
(Fort
Lewis).
Rebecca
has
had
many
opportunities
in
her
career
including
one
tour
to
Iraq.
Since
being
in
WA,
she
has
picked
up
a
new
hobby,
riding
her
Honda
CRF150RB
dirt
bike!
She
also
enjoys
tagging
along
with
husband,
Anthony,
on
the
back
of
his
bike. |
