Who's
Back!! |
| Happy
Holidays
everyone!
My
name
is
Tony
Richardson,
General
Sales
Manager
here
at
Harley
Davidson
of
Greensboro.
Over
the
past
few
years,
I
have
managed
at
the
High
Point
and
Reidsville
locations
and
have
had
the
opportunity
to
meet
and
spend
time
with
a
lot
of
you.
|
|
In
November
of
2010
my
wife
and
I
welcomed
beautiful
twin
baby
girls.
I
elected
at
the
time
to
take
some
time
off
to
spend
at
home
with
the
family,
returning
to
HD
of
Greensboro
as
General
Sales
Manager
this
past
July.
I
wanted
to
take
a
moment
to
be
sure
everyone
knows
I'm
back
and
if
you
haven't
been
by
to
see
me
already,
then
come
on
down.
The
coffee
is
on
me!!
We'll
sit
down
have
a
cup
and
catch
up.
For
those
of
you
who
I
haven't
met
yet,
come
on
by
and
let's
chat.
My
door
is
always
open.
I
look
forward
to
seeing
old
friends
and
making
new
ones.
Don't
forget
folks,
nothing
beats
a
new
Harley
under
the
tree
for
Christmas.
Highest
regards, Tony

14th
Annual
Brenner
Children's
Hospital Toy
Run |
|
Well,
it’s
already
that
time
of
year
again!
The
holidays
are
coming
and
we
at
Harley-Davidson
of
Greensboro
are
pleased
to
announce
that
this
year
marks
the
14th
year
anniversary
of
our
Annual
Toy
Run
to
Brenner
Children’s
Hospital!
We’ve
set
the
date
for
Saturday,
December
10,
2011.
As
a
result
of
this
Annual
Toy
Run,
Brenner
Children’s
Hospital
has
been
able
to
create
and
continuously
furnish
several
playrooms
for
both
young
children
and
teenagers,
allowing
these
patients
some
“fun
time”
and
distraction
from
their
ailments,
some
of
which
are
life-threatening.
Many
of
the
toys
that
are
collected
for
the
Toy
Run
are
put
into
Christmas
bags
which
are
lovingly
put
together
by
the
Hospital
staff
and
made
specific
for
each
child
who
will
spend
Christmas
morning
in
the
Hospital.
These
children
so
look
forward
to
our
visit.
Anxiously
they
watch
from
their
hospital
room
windows
as
hundreds
of
festively
decorated
motorcycles
come
down
the
highway
led
by
the
Harley-Davidson
of
Greensboro
vehicle
they
know
is
full
of
toys,
turn
off
the
exit
and
stop
at
the
entrance
of
their
Hospital.
This
year
we
will
be
meeting
at
Harley-Davidson
of
Greensboro
at
12:00
PM
for
refreshments,
and
at
1:30
PM
sharp
we
will
head
to
the
hospital
on
the
police-escorted
ride.
This
is
a
rain
or
shine
event.
The
cost
to
ride
is
$10
donation
or
a
new,
unwrapped
toy.
We
are
now
turning
to
local
community
for
support.
Riders
and
non-riders,
join
us
on
December
10th
as
we
bring
joy
to
these
children.
Or
stop
by
anytime
between
now
and
then
with
your
toy
or
monetary
donation.
All
donations
checks
should
be
made
out
to
Brenner
Children's
Hospital.
Thank
you
to
all
who
have
supported
us
all
these
years
and
who
will
continue
to
support
us
this
year.
Our
goal
is
to
make
this
the
largest
year
ever
in
monetary
donations,
toy
donations
and
riders.
Happy
Holidays!!! |

| Chili,
Chili
and
More
Chili.... |
| Saturday,
November
12th
marked
our
2nd
Annual
Fall
Chili
Cook-Off.
What
a
great
event!!!
The
chili
was
amazing,
the
tasting
participation
was
great,
and
the
weather
was
absolutely
perfect! |
|
At
11am
the
seven
chili
cook-off
chefs
began
arriving
to
set
up
their
scrumptious
displays.
We
had
decided
to
set
up
the
tasting
along
the
front
of
the
building
for
maximum
sun
exposure
and
wind
blockage.
We
were
blessed,
however,
with
a
70
degree
day
with
minimal
wind
so
it
was
perfect.
By
12noon
the
contestants
were
ready
and
so
were
the
tasters.
Over
the
next
three
hours
we
had
a
huge
crowd
come
through,
taste
chili
and
vote
for
their
favorites.
There
was
spicy
chili,
mild
chili,
sweet
chili,
Texan
chili,
chicken
chili
and
more.
We
even
had
one
contestant
bring
two
different
kinds
of
cornbread.
YUMMM!
Voting
was
challenging
his
year
with
so
many
terrific
chili
recipes.
At
3pm
the
tasting
stopped
and
the
votes
were
counted.
As
the
contestants
packed
up
they
anxiously
awaited
the
results.
After
all
there
was
$200
gift
card
to
Greensboro
Harley-Davidson
at
stake.
We
are
pleased
to
announce
the
winner
of
our
2011
Fall
Chili
Cook-Off
is
Randy
&
Cheryl
Dillard
with
Gate
City
Lanes.
Dale
Norris
was
here
representing
and
serving
(contestant
#1).
Thank
you
to
all
our
contestant
and
all
those
who
came
out
to
taste
and
vote.
We
had
a
blast
and
look
forward
to
next
year's
event!! |

|
|
|
|
| 'Tis
the
Season!! |
| We
felt
the
Holiday
Season
officially
kick
off
the
weekend
before
Thanksgiving
with
our
participation
in
the
Reidsville
Christmas
Parade
on
Saturday
night
and
High
Point
Holiday
Festival
Parade
on
Sunday
afternoon.
|
It
was
so
great
to
experience
the
magnitude
of
community
participation
in
both
cities.
The
parades
were
packed
with
local
businesses,
community
organizations,
bands,
community
figures
and
more!!
Saturday
night
in
Reidsville
proved
to
be
a
bit
chilly,
but
the
skies
were
clear
and
Scales
Street
was
packed
with
families
and
children,
bundled
up,
cheering
on
the
floats,
bands
and
dancers.
Downtown
looked
bright
and
festive
all
donned
with
white-lit
trees,
wreathes
and
Christmas
decorations!
The
following
day
the
weather
was
much
different.
We
lined
up
on
Main
Street
in
High
Point
in
70
degree
weather.
Although
the
weather
didn't
feel
so
"holiday-like",
the
atmosphere
was
full
of
holiday
cheer,
excitement,
decorations
and
music.
We
were
pleasantly
surprised
to
learn
the
next
day
that
Harley-Davidson
of
Greensboro's
float
was
awarded
the
Manager's
Choice
award.
Thank
you
Reidsville
and
High
Point
for
your
hospitality
and
for
successfully
executing
such
an
amazing
kick-off
to
the
Holiday
Season!
We
look
forward
to
participating
again
next
year!
Also,
look
for
us
in
the
Greensboro
Parade
coming
up
December
3rd. |

| We
Went
Riding!
|
What
an
incredible
Fall
we've
had
so
far!!!
Sunny
days,
perfect
riding
weather,
beautiful
foliage!!!
We
know
this
not
only
by
looking
out
the
windows
of
the
dealership
and
listening
to
the
stories
from
our
customers,
but
we
had
the
opportunity
to
take
advantage
of
one
of
these
perfect
days
at
the
end
of
October.
On
Monday,
October
24th
we
closed
the
dealership
from
10am-4pm
and
the
entire
staff
went
on
a
ride
together.
It
was
so
much
fun
to
spend
a
beautiful
fall
day
doing
what
we
all
love
to
do!!
Ride!!
After
leaving
Greensboro
Harley-Davidson
about
10:30am,
Hutch
led
us
north
on
29
and
through
the
gorgeous
back
roads
of
Northern
North
Carolina.
We
road
almost
to
Stuart,
VA
then
headed
back
south
to
get
some
lunch.
Although
Hillbilly
Hideaway
is
typically
closed
on
Mondays,
they
were
gracious
enough
to
open
up
for
us
and
serve
us
an
absolutely
delicious
lunch!!
We
were
all
quite
full
when
we
left.
After
lunch
we
headed
back
to
the
dealership
and
re-opened
at
4pm.
We
appreciate
everyone's
patience
while
we
were
closed
that
day!
Since
we
are
open
7
days
a
week,
it
is
challenging
to
plan
time
for
the
entire
staff
to
enjoy
spending
time
together.
Shhhhhh
don't
tell
him
but
we're
hoping
Mark
will
do
this
again
with
us
in
the
future!
We're
looking
forward
to
seeing
y'all
out
riding!!

|
|
| Escape
From
Reality
For
a
Bit |
|
My
experience
with
the
Greensboro
Harley-Davidson's
Learn
to
Ride
class
was
a
3-day
long
adrenaline
rush.
I
was
nervous
in
the
beginning,
as
any
first-time
rider
would
be,
but
I
built
confidence
toward
the
end.
After
completing
the
course,
my
husband
bought
me
my
very
own
Harley-Davidson
motorcycle
and
going
riding
together
has
become
one
of
my
favorite
things
to
do.
We
both
work
a
lot,
so
we
take
advantage
of
our
free
time
on
the
weekends
by
hopping
on
the
bikes
and
going
for
a
nice
ride
to
get
away
from
reality
for
a
bit.
Learning
to
ride
has
created
a
life-long
hobby
that
I
can
share
with
my
family.
If
I
could
go
back,
I
would
only
change
one
thing:
Betsy
and
Joe
(two
of
the
instructors)
tried
to
tell
me
I
would
want
a
bigger
bike
than
the
one
I
got,
and
I
should
have
listened!
I
have
a
feeling
I
may
be
trading
up
soon!

| Servicing
Our
Customers
Since
1934 |
Here
at
Greensboro
Harley-Davidson,
we
have
a
fully
staffed
service
department
to
take
care
of
all
your
service
needs.
All
our
technicians
are
factory-trained
and
certified,
3
of
whom
have
attained
the
recognition
level
of
“Master”
technician.
Combined
our
technicians
have
over
100
years
experience.
The
“Dealership
Advantage” Today’s
Harley-Davidson
and
Buell
motorcycles
may
look
very
similar
to
those
of
ten
years
ago,
or
40
years
ago
for
that
matter.
But
from
a
technological
standpoint,
they
are
a
whole
new
breed.
And
to
effectively
work
on
these
more
technologically
advanced
motorcycles,
one
needs
the
proper
tools
and
computers;
tools
and
computers
that
are
only
available
from
Harley-Davidson
to
Authorized
Harley-Davidson
and
Buell
dealers
like
us.
With
the
press
of
a
button,
we
can
have
your
motorcycle
communicating
directly
to
it’s
birthplace
at
the
Motor
Company
in
Milwaukee,
Wisconsin.
You
can’t
get
that
from
an
aftermarket
shop.
Why
Greensboro
Harley-Davidson/
Service Our
exceptional
technicians
aren’t
the
only
reason
to
trust
us
with
your
Harley-Davidson
and
Buell
motorcycle’s
servicing
needs.
And
factory-direct
communication
and
diagnosis
with
Harley-Davidson
Motor
Company
isn’t
the
only
reasons,
either.
Did
you
know
that
we
are
also
a
Certified
Express
Lane
Dealer?
What
that
means
to
you
is
that
for
jobs
that
require
an
hour
or
less
to
complete,
we
will
affect
the
repair
or
service
on
the
spot,
while
you
wait,
in
under
an
hour!
No
appointments.
No
hassles.
No
delays.
That
includes
things
like
tire
changes,
oil
changes
and
brake
pad
replacement,
as
well
as
hundreds
of
accessory
installations.
Express
Lane
Service From
service
bay
to
saddle
time...fast!
In
the
time
it
could
take
you
to
wash
and
wax
your
bike,
you
could
be
getting
an
oil
change
and
filter.
Or
new
tires,
brakes,
or
any
number
of
other
select
services.
That's
the
Express
Lane
Service
Center
-
where
you
can
get
in,
get
serviced,
and
get
riding.
And
there's
no
appointment
needed.
To
find
out
more
about
our
Express

us

Or

an

we

Arrive
early
and
line
up.
Will
have
the

ready,
and

out
of
our

We
look
forward
to

very
soon.
