or
are
thinking
of
purchasing.
Also,there
is
a
quick
article
on
motorcycle
fitness.

| Motorcycle
Fitness? |
| How
being
fit
can
help
you
ride |
Fatigue,
exhaustion,
sore
shoulders,
legs,
butt,
arms,
wrists,
neck,
back.
Every
rider
has
experienced
it.
Whether
you
are
riding
an
ATV
in
Yuma
or
touring
a
cruiser
in
Prescott,
your
muscles
get
fatigued.
Especially
during
more
vigorous
riding,
the
body
can
get
quite
a
work
out
and
lack
of
fitness
can
hinder
performance,
especially
after
a
prolonged
ride.
Even
riding
a
UTV
like
a
Can-am
Commander
can
be
taxing.
Last
Christmas
I
was
given
a
chance
to
ride
a
commander
in
the
mountains
in
the
pine-strawberry
area.
(Which
was
a
blast!
That
machine
is
amazing)
But
after
a
day
of
riding
my
shoulders
and
back
were
so
stiff
from
stabilizing
the
steering
wheel
that
I
could
hardly
move
them!
When
the
body
is
fatigued
reaction
times
lengthen,
the
ability
to
maneuver
around
the
bike
can
be
impeded,
and
the
ability
to
make
sound,
snap
judgments
can
be
impaired.
This
kind
of
delay
could
mean
the
difference
between
a
quick
reaction
to
make
a
tight
turn,
or
going
down
the
rocky
cliff-side.
Luckily,
there
are
several
areas
of
fitness
and
well-being
which
when
addressed
can
improve
rider
performance.
A
good
start
to
improving
rider
fitness
is
cardiovascular
exercise.
This
could
include
activities
such
as
running,
cycling,
and
swimming.
These
kinds
of
exercise
improve
fitness
of
the
heart
and
lungs,
enabling
them
to
get
oxygen
and
essential
nutrients
to
the
various
muscles
more
effectively
over
longer
periods
of
time,
as
well
as
toning
many
various
skeletal
and
core
muscles.
Improving
general
fitness
and
muscle
tone
will
also
help
reduce
the
general
aches
and
pains
associated
with
riding
for
long
periods
by
increasing
joint
strength
and
improving
body
posture.
Of
course,
during
the
course
of
a
ride
almost
every
muscle
in
the
body
will
come
into
play
in
some
form
or
another.
Dehydration
is
also
a
contributing
factor
to
fatigue
and
a
good
supply
of
liquids
is
essential
to
keep
the
body
operating
effectively.
It
is
worth
noting
that
in
top-level
motorsports,
such
as
Formula
1,
some
drivers
can
perspire
up
to
two
liters
during
the
course
of
a
race.
Of
course,
this
is
also
climate
dependent
and
there
are
other
factors
to
be
considered.
Getting
fit
will
not
only
make
you
better
looking
but
a
better
rider
too! |

|
| What
is
Negative
Equity? |
| Your
finance
adviser
can
help
you
avoid
a
negative
equity
situation! |
What
is
negative
equity?
"When
the
value
of
an
asset
falls
below
the
outstanding
balance
on
the
loan
used
to
purchase
that
asset.
Negative
equity
is
calculated
simply
by
taking
the
value
of
the
asset
less
the
balance
on
the
outstanding
loan."
In
other
words
if
your
bike
is
currently
worth
4k
but
you
owe
5k
that
is
a
total
negative
equity
of
1k.
Think
the
Arizona
housing
market.
Motorcycles,
like
automobiles,
depreciate
in
value
each
mile
they
are
driven.
They
also
depreciate
in
value
over
time
as
new
technology
makes
older
bikes
less
desirable.
As
a
result,
taking
a
loan
for
$5,000
on
a
motorcycle
may
mean
you
have
$3,500
left
on
that
loan
at
a
point
in
the
future
when
the
bike
is
only
worth
$2,500.
If
this
is
the
case,
then
you
will
owe
money
when
you
sell.
A
finance
adviser
can
help
you
avoid
this
situation!
Putting
down
a
large
down
payment
and
making
large
monthly
payments
for
example
can
help.
Negative
equity
on
a
motorcycle
only
truly
occurs
if
you
are
failing
to
pay
off
the
loan
faster
than
the
rate
of
depreciation
on
the
asset.
Be
sure
to
accurately
describe
your
financial
goals
and
needs
to
a
finance
adviser
so
that
you
get
a
personalized
plan
that
fits
your
needs!
Selling
With
Negative
Equity
You
can
sell
a
motorcycle
with
negative
equity
the
same
way
you
would
sell
a
motorcycle
you
own
out
right.
There
is
even
the
option
of
trading
the
bike
in
with
a
dealer.
In
both
cases,
though,
you
will
be
responsible
for
paying
off
the
loan
in
full.
When
you
receive
the
profits
from
selling
the
bike,
this
money
should
go
straight
to
paying
down
the
remaining
balance
on
the
loan.
In
some
cases,
there
will
only
be
a
small
difference
remaining
on
the
debt.
In
others,
you
will
find
you
owe
several
thousand
dollars.
Paying
the
Difference
v.
Borrowing
the
Difference
It
is
typically
better
to
pay
off
the
difference
when
dealing
with
negative
equity.
(who
wants
to
pay
for
an
item
that
they
don't
own
anymore?)
But
there
are
options
to
refinance
or
borrow
the
difference.
Talk
with
a
finance
adviser
to
help
you
determine
the
best
option
for
you! |
