2007 Harley-Davidson® FXDB
Dyna
Street
Bob $13,920.00,
THIS
IS
PURE,
DISTILLED
BADASS
AT
ITS
BARE-KNUCKLE
BEST.
At
first
glance
this
looks
like
an
old-schooler
with
nothing
to
lose.
A
blast
back
to
when
folks
looking
to
boost
miles
per
hour
stripped
off
or
''bobbed''
the
shiny
parts
to
make
the
motorcycle
lighter.
But
the
Street
Bob
takes
it
a
step
further.
A
lip-snarled
attitude
wrapped
around
a
new
black
powder-coated
Twin
Cam
96
engine
with
a
six-speed
Cruise
Drive
transmission.
Chrome,
laced
wheels.
Factory
ape-hangers.
4.7
gallons
of
Fat
Bob
tank
to
get
you
out
of
Dodge.
A
solo
seat.
Because
relationships
can
be
complicated.
The
Street
Bob.
Two
wheels,
a
motor,
a
seat
and
handlebar.
Just
the
way
the
purists
like
it.

TECH
TIPS:
WINTERIZATION |
| BY
CHUCK
SHELLEY
-
EXPERT
H-D
TECHNICIAN |
The
end
of
the
summer
riding
season
is
upon
us
and
many
people
ask
me,
“What
can
I
do
to
make
sure
my
motorcycle
stays
in
top
condition
throughout
the
winter?”
There
are
a
variety
of
different
answers
depending
on
how
much
you
plan
on
riding
this
winter.
1.
If
you
don’t
plan
on
riding
at
all,
I
recommend
that
you
get
your
oil
changed,
disconnect
your
battery,
fill
your
fuel
tank,
and
add
some
sort
of
fuel
stabilizer
to
the
gas
tank
(this
will
prevent
the
gasoline
from
going
bad
and
gumming
up
critical
fuel
components).
It’s
also
not
a
bad
idea
to
start
it
up
every
month
or
two
and
let
it
warm
up
for
10
to
20
minutes.
2.
If
you
plan
on
riding
a
little
bit,
but
not
enough
to
justify
a
full
winterization,
simply
change
the
oil
and
invest
in
a
battery
tender.
This
device
plugs
into
any
outlet
and
keeps
enough
of
a
charge
on
your
battery
to
keep
it
from
freezing
or
draining.
3.
If
you
ride
your
bike
on
a
regular
basis
during
the
cold
months,
just
keep
up
with
your
regularly
scheduled
maintenance.
More
importantly,
it
is
critical
that
you
let
your
engine
warm
up
before
you
take
off.
This
ensures
that
any
condensation
is
evaporated
out
of
the
system
and
all
critical
components
receive
the
proper
lubrication
that
they
deserve.
