Hello
everyone,
Wow!
October
already!
I
can
hardly
believe
it
is
October.
Time
flies
when
you
are
having
fun,
I
guess.
It
has
been
a
great
year
for
us
in
the
Service
department.
We
have
expanded
our
facilities
and
added
new
staff
to
meet
the
growing
demands
from
all
of
the
great
customers
we
have
added
to
our
Harley-Davidson
family.
I
hope
when
you
come
to
Republic
for
your
service
needs,
that
our
staff
has
made
you
feel
like
family.
We
take
pride
in
serving
you
and
making
your
experience
here
the
best
possible.
We
love
to
ride
just
as
much
as
our
customers
and
we
understand
just
what
your
motorcycle
means
to
you.
There
are
very
few
things
in
life
I
have
found
that
I
am
more
passionate
about.
The
weather
we
have
this
time
of
year
makes
me
crave
a
nice
back
road
to
do
some
relaxed
riding.
I
can
hardly
wait
to
break
out
the
leathers.
Of
course,
everyone
else
has
the
same
idea
this
time
of
year.
I
am
currently
seeking
new
techs
to
help
us
keep
up
with
the
demand
for
our
services.
Please
understand
we
want
to
keep
you
riding
with
as
little
down
time
as
possible.
One
of
the
things
we
do
to
help
make
our
time
as
efficient
as
possible
is
to
make
appointments
for
our
customers.
Of
course,
if
you
make
an
appointment
we
will
try
our
best
to
get
your
bike
in
and
out
in
the
same
day.
We
are
a
lot
like
making
a
visit
to
the
doctor
though
and
you
may
not
see
your
bike
rolled
into
the
service
bay
as
soon
as
you
drop
it
off.
We
try
to
schedule
things
as
accurately
as
possible
but,
sometimes
we
get
a
job
that
requires
a
little
more
time
than
originally
planned.
Parts
availability
also
plays
a
big
factor
in
keeping
to
our
schedules.
Please
be
patient
during
this
busy
time
and
we
promise
to
give
your
motorcycle
the
full
attention
it
deserves.
Remember,
we
want
to
get
your
bike
repaired
or
serviced
as
quickly
and
efficiently
as
possible
to
make
things
go
smoothly
for
everyone.
We
thank
you
all
for
your
business
and
want
all
of
you
to
tell
your
friends
about
the
great
experience
you
had
with
us.
If
your
experience
with
us
is
anything
other
than
outstanding,
please
let
me
know
and
I
will
try
and
make
it
a
positive
experience
for
you.
To
show
our
appreciation
for
our
service
customers,
we
are
offering
free
installation
for
tires
purchased
here
during
the
month
of
October.
I
hope
this
helps
keep
you
riding
and
enjoying
the
great
fall
riding
season.
Again,
thank
you
for
your
business
from
the
service
staff
here
at
Republic
Harley-Davidson!
See
ya
on
the
road,
Donnie
"guru"
Malone
|

|
|
|
Ok,
so
you
decided
not
to
get
a
windshield
last
month
and
braved
the
love
bugs
like
a
true
biker.
Kudos
to
you.
Obviously,
you
have
an
acquired
taste
(and
a
spare
toothbrush).
Though
I
am
not
one
to
be
skittish
with
questionable
fare,
I
prefer
to
avoid
any
possible
"accidental"
consumption
of
insect
cuisine.
For
those
like
me
less
inclined
to
expand
their
nutritional
horizons,
we
still
have
many
windshields
available.
They
are
not
on
sale
anymore,
but
it
sure
beats
that
spicy
crunch
that
will
ruin
any
ride.
So
what
is
in
the
works
for
October
you
ask.
What
goes
better
with
the
great
weather
we've
been
having
than
a
chili
cook-off?
That's
right!
The
P&A
department
is
competing,
and
we
plan
to
obliterate
the
competition!
As
I
see
it,
we
do
not
have
much
to
worry
about.
The
Service
department
would
probably
spend
most
of
the
day
trying
to
increase
the
BTU's
of
their
burner.
The
Sales
department
is
going
to
get
wrapped
up
explaining
the
features
and
benefits
of
their
ingredients,
and
Admin
will
be
consumed
by
cost
efficiency
and
forget
to
show
up.
As
far
as
the
General
Merchandise
department
go,
well
I
have
it
from
a
reliable
source
that
they
are
more
concerned
with
their
appearance
than
their
chili.
Do
not
miss
out
on
the
best
chili
you
will
ever
have!
And
by
the
way
we

|
The
other
morning
I
was
cruising
to
work,
enjoying
the
cool
riding
weather
we
have
been
blessed
with
and
saw
a
few
other
riders
heading
down
the
road.
I
assume
they
were
heading
to
work
as
I
was
and
as
I
gave
them
a
courteous
wave,
I
noticed
their
haphazard
layering
attempt
to
block
the
cold.
Now
I
do
not
claim
to
be
the
quintessential
biker,
but
these
riders
looked
better
dressed
for
an
eighties
skiing
convention
than
a
two
wheeled
excursion.
I
do
not
believe
there
to
be
a
set
image
of
how
a
rider
should
dress,
it
is
something
everybody
does
to
his
or
her
own
taste
and
preference.
However,
I
do
believe
any
rider
should
consider
why
they
should
wear
appropriate
gear.
We
wear
riding
apparel
for
several
reasons,
the
most
important
being
protection.
The
goal
is
to
have
protective
gear
that
is
comfortable
and
shield
us
from
the
elements.
And
if
it
looks
good
at
the
same
time,
well
then
what
else
can
we
ask
for?
The
Harley-Davidson
apparel
available
to
riders
today
meets
all
of
these
criteria
and
is
available
in
a
wide
price
range.
So
please,
donate

jacket,
hang
the

and
come
see
one
of
our
helpful

members
in

to
outfit
you
with
apparel
that
will
protect
you
in
case
of
a
spill,
shield
you
from

and
maybe
even
boost
your
image.
Enjoy

Rake
out
the
front
end,
lower
the
rear
suspension
and
whittle
down
the
seat,
and
you
get
a
beautiful
long
and
low
custom
that
delivers
a
look
and
feel
like
nothing
else.
So,
it
should
come
as
no
surprise
the
Low
Rider®
model
has
been
a
favorite
since
day
one
and
never
looked
back.
Today’s
version
sports
a
pullback
bar,
mid-mount
foot
controls
and
a
low-slung
seat
that’s
just
over
25''
off
the
pavement.
Experiencing
long
and
low
has
never
felt
more
right.
You
get
highway
pegs
and
a
fat
rear
tire.
This
year,
we
couldn’t
help
but
stretch
the
tank,
giving
the
bike
an
even
longer
look.
And
we
made
EFI
an
option
to
the
traditional
carb
Twin
Cam
88®
engine.
It’s
everything
that’s
good
about
a
factory
custom.
As
only
the
Harley-Davidson
factory
can
build.
