The
riding
season
is
now
in
full
swing.
With
that
in
mind,
I
would
like
to
share
a
story,
with
you,
that
happened
to
Beth
and
I
a
couple
of
years
ago.
Some
of
the
older
members
know
this
story,
so
this
is
for
our
new
members.
We
were
on
our
annual
trip
to
Tombstone
when
our
bike
broke
down
in
Tucson.
Of
course
it
was
late
and
the
local
dealership
(less
then
a
mile
away
from
where
we
were)
was
closed.
As
we
sat
on
the
side
of
the
road
a
gentleman
in
a
pickup
(also
a
Harley
rider)
stopped
to
help.
We
never
did
get
his
name.
He
said
he
had
a
friend
that
could
help
and
would
go
get
him.
Low
and
behold,
fifteen
minutes
later
a
pickup
with
a
trailer
attached
arrived.
The
man
said
let's
load
it
up
and
take
it
to
his
shop
to
see
if
he
could
get
the
bike
going.
It
turned
out
that
this
fellow
was
the
owner
of
the
local
Victory
dealership.
(remember
this
is
Friday,
after
hours).
He
had
to
reopen
his
facility
to
accomodate
us.
Unfortunately,
we
couldn't
get
the
bike
running.
Believe
it
or
not,
he
then
said,
"here,
take
my
bike"
(HD
Ultra
Classic),
"and
enjoy
your
weekend",
which
we
did.
He
then
had
to
come
down
and
reopen
his
shop
on
Sunday,
when
we
returned.
Now,
how
many
people
would
do
something
like
this?
Biker
people,
that's
who.
I
wanted
to
use
this
as
an
example
of
our
motorcycle
community.
You
will
never
meet
a
more
friendly
or
helpful
group
in
your
life.
So
let's
get
together
and
ride,
knowing
we
all
watch
out
for
each
other
and
feel
confident
in
your
brothers
&
sisters.
