A clean, custom motorcycle with a maximum shine. Put on some dark shades to check this one out. For starters, your eyes will immediately lock in on the silver powder-coated engine with chrome detailing. The proven Twin Cam 88® powertrain, available in traditional carb or sophisticated EFI, is always ready for as many miles as you care to throw at it. We rubber-mounted it to the frame for a ride that’s as smooth as the looks. The stretched tank gets a color-coordinated console with performance-style fuel filler cap. And the flat handlebar and staggered shorty dual exhaust pipes look ready to take this clean, custom show on the road. And to make the whole thing even better still, we fitted the Super Glide® Custom with a low-slung, two-up seat. After all, there’s definitely enough style here for two.

| Harley-Davidson Factory Tour |
|
McIlwain Charters and Tours will be sponsoring a Harley-Davidson Factory Tour of its York, PA plant on Friday, November 12, 2004. Departure is set for 6:30am with a 5:30pm return. Harley-Davidson requires visitors 18 and over to present a valid photo ID and complete a registration card. Children under the age of 12 are welcome at the tour center but are not allowed on the factory tour. Visitors must pass through a metal detector. 2004 Harley-Davidson® VRSCA V-Rod®
$0.00, 2 miles, Your eyes are not playing tricks on you. What you’re seeing here is indeed 115 horses of a very different color. The muscle-and-metal-to-the-max VRSCA V-Rod® gone tinted. For 2004, we took the aluminum bodywork through the paint booth and came up with some standout shades, including Lava Red Sunglo that’s sure to stop a sidewalk full of pedestrians dead in their tracks. From there, we went further. The perimeter frame has a new sliver-leaf powder-coat for sheen. The overall effect carries on its crowd-drawing tradition. And it enhances the long, low hot rod theme provided by the 49mm, 38° raked fork, 180mm rear tire, solid disc wheels and sweeping exhaust. The strapping, 60° V-Twin Revolution® power plant sends it all blistering into motion. Liquid-cooled and fuel-injected, it displaces 1130cc and pumps out 115 horsepower. For those who agree lots of power equals lots of good.

2004 Harley-Davidson® Sportster® XL 1200 Roadster
