Q:
What
can
I
use
to
dress
up
my
black
tires?
They
look
dull,
even
after
I’ve
cleaned
them
using
Harley
Wheel
&
Tire
Cleaner.
A:
For
safety
reasons,
you
must
be
very
careful
of
what
you
apply
to
tires.
Do
not
use
automotive
tire-dressing
products!
Four-wheel-vehicle
tires
function
very
differently
from
motorcycle
tires
and
are
not
required
to
bear
the
stress
of
turns
and
angles.
Treatment
with
automotive
products
could
cause
your
motorcycle
tires
to
become
slick
and
unable
to
grip
the
road
sufficiently.
Also,
you
should
be
aware
that
motorcycle
tire
manufacturers
will
often
void
warranties
if
an
unapproved
product
is
applied
to
their
tires.
Harley
Black
Tire
Sidewall
Protectant
is
a
new
product
approved
by
the
Goodyear
Dunlop
tire
company.
This
black-pigmented
polymer
formula
provides
UV
protection
and
restores
the
luster
to
black
tire
sidewalls.

Can
bugs
damage
my
painted
surface?
A:
Natural
acids
in
bugs
can
make
bug-splatter
very
damaging
to
surface
finishes.
So,
be
sure
to
act
quickly.

set
for

minute

soften
the
