Battery Maintenance

Okay cool, your bike has a maintenance free battery meaning you don’t need to add or check water levels, but there are still some things you need to be aware of.

1. All batteries can lose 3% to 10% of their charge each month while sitting idle.

2. Short rides may not allow the charging system to fully charge your battery but may actually wear the battery down. Some charging systems can take up to 20 minutes of steady highway riding to fully charge a battery.

So I recommend the use of a battery tender when the bike will sit for more than a few days. This will keep your battery fully charged and ready when you are!

2007 Buell® Firebolt® XB12R
$10,495.00
Whether you’re using it as a finely tuned track weapon or a daily commuter, the Buell Firebolt owes much of its handling prowess to the 52 inch wheelbase, 21 degree rake and 3.3 inches of trail. The aggressive geometry combined with the rigid chassis makes the Firebolt nimble and precise. Up front, the sportfighter features a fully adjustable Showa® inverted fork while the rear is equipped with an adjustable Showa cartridge. The result is a sportbike that seems almost telepathic, effortlessly responding to rider input.

Powered by a 1,203 cc Thunderstorm® air/oil/fan-cooled, fuel-injected 45 degree V-twin, this is the motorcycle for riders who demand a premium styled sportfighter with even more horsepower and torque.
